What would need to be replaced on this Jeep I want to bid on?

    New to the forums, and I don’t own a Jeep. However, I am considering bidding on this Jeep, but need to know what all pieces would have to be replaced on it. Thank you for any help you can give. It looks to be just the front end that has damage in the picture I provided.

    You should look underneath it for any damage, it is a Jeep.

    Welcome @Chasechief ! Looks can be deceiving sometimes. Based off the pics some of the obvious parts are hood, LF fender, inner fender, frt bumper, hood catch, side marker light. Have a trusted mechanic inspect and test drive would be ideal prior to bidding if possible. Hidden damage could be found with the suspension, axles, drive train and frame. Even if the price is right the rest of the TJ needs to pass thorough inspection. Good luck

    Welcome to the forum @Chasechief. Numerous very valid points made by aggrex.
    Although TJs are awesome Jeeps. And first glance. It looks pretty much cancer free. But.....the frame is a very important. Extremely hard and expensive to repair and replace. On the positive. Numerous replacement and aftermarket parts are readily available.
    Keep us posted. I'd like to see how you make out.

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
    Any front corner hit strong enough to to that much damage will push the frame slightly out of square on a jeep. It won't be enough to see or detect on an alignment machine, but it will manifest itself when making turns. Normally when pulling out of a turn you let go of the steering wheel and the forward motion of the vehicle will straighten up your steering wheel by itself. When a frame is just slightly out of square the steering wheel will stay in the direction of the turn you just made and you will have to straighten it manually yourself. That being said . . . I have bought a couple of vehicles that did this, but cosmetically were great, you get used to steering out of turns.
