    Welcome!
    Lot of different lift/tire combos to check out in the Jeep builds subsections and the Jeep suspension area.

    Some I pulled at random...

    @OFFGRID's 08 Wrangler with a 4" lift running 37" tires (before moving up to 40's)
    [IMG]

    @JKBob 25's 2016 with a 2" lift
    [IMG]

    @Blue Baby Sound's 2018 JK build thread is another detailed one to read through

    There ya go. Awesome example of a lifted JKU from @boondoc89. Sweet JkU. Can't stress it. Have fun, and build what you have in mind for it. :).

    Welcome to the Jeep Club. What ever you do don't chinch on the lift kit. A basic 2-2.5 spacer lift is fine, but if your going to get into new springs and more etc, go with a reputable company like Metal Cloak (my new favorite) or Teraflex (my old favorite). Metal Cloak's 3.5 inch game changer lift on the JK was amazing, and I hear they just came out with the same lift for the JL. It allows you to wheel aggressively without changing anything else on the jeep. What part of the country are you in?

    @boondoc89 love it! I’m thinking of a 2 inch lift with 33’s. I’ve also learned that my jeep has the Dana 44’s. Again, new to all of this & hoping the Dana 44 won’t stop me from the kind of lift I’m wanting.

    @OFFGRID I’m in Texas (Dallas area)

    Agree with Pre-runner. Get involved in a local club. The Sahara comes with Dana 44 in the rear and Dana 30 in the front. 2 inch lift with 33s will look great. I really like the look of JK bob's jeep with 35s and flat fenders on a 2 inch lift. 33s and 35s keep your jeep very street worthy will still giving you decent offroadability. Make sure you buy a prgrammer like superchips to correct the jeep's computer for the tire size change. Remember that if you take your jeep to the dealership for work to take the programming out of the jeep (set back to stock) They will often flash your computer and you will lose the aftermarket programming forcing you to purchase a new programmer. When you get your jeep back from the dealership you can reinstall the programmer on your jeep.

    I'm in Houston. My Club often goes to Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area in Gilmer Texas. It is a lot closer to Dallas than it is to Houston.

    If we (jeeps.net) can help feel free to hit is up.

    Love The JLU in white.
