    Just a small crappie from about a week ago. I ran my boat and took my fishin pole with me for shits and gigs. Ended hooking up to this little fella.20180226_154455.jpg

    Nice day fishing in the Pacific Northwest this is just one of a limit of Lingcod and Rockfish. Her reaction is to the size of the the mouth and teeth on this fish after I showed it to her.

    yes, the group shot was down at Alijos Rocks, aboard the Vagabond on an 8 day trip we take every year in October.

    The other was on my boat (25' Wellcraft) and was caught, believe it or not, just south of the Coronado Islands a couple of years ago. (that's only 20miles south of San Diego.) Wahoo that far north is very, very rare.........but we had a very warm water summer and I had been watching a pocket of "hot" water for a few weeks.........and it paid off. We got 3 that day!
