Will this work on my 2012 JKU? I have the stock radio without uconnect.

this is what the for sale post says about radio i would like to buy.27539978_10215344150303859_6996778872288706806_n.jpg

Factory touch screen RER 730N Navigation am fm sirus radio cd dvd Aux USB back up camera internal hard drive and works with steering wheel controls. It has u connect for hands free Calling but will NOT stream music with Bluetooth you have to use an Aux cord. It came out of my 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 with the factory alpine system and steering controls works perfectly

    TIA

I'm fond of the 430n, as it's a Garmin based navigation and gives street views, elevations, and such. You shouldn't have a hard time finding a good used one. Also has a built in hard drive for storing music.

It's plug & play, but make sure you get one with a security xode

Okay Chris, Ya'll have my interest now when you say Garmin based GPS. Can you set points on a map when you are on a trail to map it out, label it, and save it for later?

I'm not sure. I'll have to check and see if it has this option.

Yeah....same here. Interested in this also. If you could do as OFFGRID asked. That would be really sweet to have. Also, I have Sirusxm. And not crazy about giving that up.

The 430n has the SirusXM too. I'll check it out tomorrow, as that's a feature I haven't messed with.

Ok....Did a little screwing around today, and I see where you can set POI's, but not sure about tracking back. I'll have to check the manual. POI's might be only for ones pre programmed into the Map software, and I haven't updated since I got the jeep.

    Yes.
If you have the Microphone in the upper Left hand near the driver side grab handle, then you have the Uconnect system and it will be Plug & Play. What model radio are you asking about? I don't see it in the pic you posted.
