    Thanks so much for your diligence, Chris. At least I know what I have now...even though I'm not too happy about it. I'm not sure what these wires would be, but not only would someone be unable to put a socket on it, the wires would twist when backing out with a wrench. No matter...I'll probably save my expensive Synchromax for a tranny upgrade. My future plans include an engine swap. Not go na do that with an AX5.

    Thanks. That is what I was thinking was the fill plug. I may change it anyway, as I don't know how soon I may be changing powerplants. Its a bit disappointing that someone transferred that tranny in my 2002.

    as long as its working fine, I wouldn't worry about it. It might not be the favorite for some, but its not bad.
