I have a 2012 JKU Sport 3.73 gears 2.5'' AEV lift and 35' BF Goodrich Mud Terrains, bumpers, skid plates etc, its not bad but a little slow. I think its time to regear I have seen a lot of mixed views between 4.10 and 4.56 gears. Wanted to know everyones thoughts of which to go with. Oh ya it is my DD but I do hit the trails so I want it functional offroad.
And another thing I live in Northern VA and the shopd around here want 4500 to regear. I have seen a good amount of people say they pay half that or less. Any suggestions for good shops to go to that are not across the country. I am willing to drive for a better price. Thanks.

Welcome! For 35's, I think 4.56 is a good choice. Personally, I think the 4.10's are good with 33" tires. Expect to pay around 700 bucks per axel to have them re geared. I'm not familiar with your area, but I would hit google up for locations, and read reviews.

I run an AEV's 2.5 & 35s. I am very happy with 4.10. If your focus was more on off-road it might be different but 4.10s are IMHO better for DDs. I wheel my DD more than most ever will. With 4.56 you run your RPM up and fuel mileage down on the pavement at 4.56. Do not let anyone talk you into anything more that 4.56. 4.88s and lower (larger number) are good for many 07-11 but not the 12 and up. I know of a couple of folks who regretted 4.56s but its all about how you want to use it.

    $4500 seems REALLY out there.

My jeep idled over a 3 foot hill in 4 low, worth it to me.

Now you can see why I said not to go over the 4:56s. lol But it sure makes a difference when crawling. Glad it all worked out well for you.

4:10 is probably fine for road use and light off-road. If you get into some hard stuff then 4:56 is probably the way to go.
