Thanks Bob!Looking to see if I can raise and lower my JK at will. Lift it and go off road, drop it for highway use like the Dodge Ram Rebel! May consider air shocks instead of bags.

Welcome! That's a unique idea. Given the coil and link system the jeep uses, I'm not sure it aid be easy, vs a leaf sprung vehicle.

So here is my thought. If you go to airride.com and look at the Air Ride 1000 set for the Jeep JK rear suspension, there is an inflatable bag that goes inside the rear coil spring and provides lift to the rear suspension. I am a new Jeeper but doesn't the front have similar coil springs? if so, wouldn't it make sense that the same rubber air bags would provide the same affect on the front?

Air bags are designed to offset the extra load of pulling a trailer etc. If you use it to raise the vehicle you will have an extremely miserable rough ride because you don't have the weight to squish the springs. You can do the same by installing air shocks if this is your goal. the ride will be the same as putting air bags. Rough. If youre looking for just a couple of inches lift at a cheap price look into a hockey puck lift like this:

A lot of Lincolns use airbags as suspension and they have a pretty cush ride.
